SS One-Time Economic Recovery Payments

In February, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This act provides for the one-time payment of $250 to individuals who get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security benefits.

$250 bucks to spend on anything you want to stimulate the economy. OC will probably send it back because he doesn’t believe in handouts from the government. That’s fine, but not me. I’m going to spend it in Wolfeboro to help with our local economy.
So what will all you SS recipients spend it on?

Probably Hampshire Pewter, Hallmark store (I like Barbara & John Bridges, they are good people), and then the rest at Harvest Market. $250 won't go a long way but atleast I'll spend it locally.
I wish OC would give me his share, but I don't think so.

Nice idea to spend it locally anyway. I wish OC would come on here. I must have gotten 10 emails from OC since this started but he won't answer me why he won't come on here. Maybe he is too busy with his other interests. He is a good guy though. I'll forgive him.
