Obama, You Scare Me

This letter was written by Lou Pritchett, former VP at Proctor & Gamble. I also acknowledge that Snopes has been accused by forum members here of being part of some Liberal plot.

Dear Barack Hussein Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you. You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support. You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American. You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll. You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others. You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail. You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad. You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector. You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one. You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves. You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world. You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations. You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals. You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people. You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient. You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do. You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view. You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing. Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

I did.

I wouldn't write what he wrote today!

He scares me too. If this cap and trade bill passes which passed the house Fri night, this country might as well hang it up. I give up.

You folks scare me. Our country's financial systems almost collapsed under the Republican watch and you don't say boo about that. Dubya was about as bad as bad can be.

The Republican party inherited the mess we are in from the Clinton administration. In case you did not know Clinton was/is a Democrat.

Yeah right, Clinton left a 125 billion dollar surplus to Dubya and he left a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit to Obama. Dubya also doubled our national debt, a fact that is long forgotten in the world of FOX news. I guess global warming is a myth as well despite the fact that 2500 scientists in over 130 countries say it's for real. Keep your head in the sand and the problems will go away.

Talk about having a head in the sand, it is really disturbing that a Democrat thinks that way. This country is in deep trouble.

Where did you say your head was?

"The Republican party inherited the mess we are in from the Clinton administration."

Wow, yeah, a federal budget SURPLESS, a DROP in the overall national debt. What a clusterfuck, how did we ever survive!

Damn Tax and Spend Lieburuls.

Lot's of heads in the sand here, typical Dims.

MH, I never said where my head was.

xrayspx's picture

Firstly, blow me, secondly, I shall now post stats and graphs showing the decline in the federal debt and a budget surplus during Clinton's administration.

Bush was not a very good president, was way too liberal, spending a lot of money, I agree. But Obama in 6 months has him so outspent it isn't even close. I heard the headline news about the cap and trade and they downplay it so much, it doesn't sound like the same bill. They make it sound so innocent. Check into some of the details and see how you feel. It is going to make everything so much more expensive for us in this country, most won't be able to survive it. It will kill businesses. It will kill anyone trying to buy or sell a house with the restrictive codes, even somehow taking "points" from you if you are selling a house with old appliances or older windows. It will make electricity and gasoline so expensive, many won't be able to afford it and the coal industry will be gone. I couldn't believe the details and yet the news makes it sound like a nice bill protecting the environment. And they added the 300 page amendment which none of them read -they hadn't even read the original 1200 pages.

This is from FreeRepublic, of all places:

It's easy to find "budget deficit graphs", it's way harder to find "federal debt graphs". I think it's because the debt graphs would just depress everyone.

All I'm getting thus far is a bunch of articles about the National Debt Clock running backwards because of Clinton's debt reduction:

There you go

Bush inhereted the prior 8 years (Clinton years) of world wide chaos which culminated on an attack on the USA on 9-11. Over the remainder of George W's Presidency none I repeat NO attacks have taken place on the USA. He had to spend alot of money to guarantee our safety, was that money well spent or not? Even the Dims cannot repute that.

It is simply a matter of time before the chosen one is tested. I can only hope it is not a nuke.

A registered Democrat and proud American.

xrayspx's picture

Over the remainder of George W's Presidency none I repeat NO attacks have taken place on the USA

Firstly, that's patently false, Doctors have been shot, churches have been shot up, in the name of "killing liberals".

Secondly, every day for the past 8 years I've carried around a small rock in my pocket, the rock protects me from attack by tiger. In the past 8 years, I haven't been attacked by even a SINGLE TIGER, This rock is genius, I can sell it to you, all it will cost is for you to give us our 4300 dead soldiers and 1.4Trillion back.

Thirdly, the Bush administration received a detailed report stating very clearly the intent of Osama bin Laden to attack within the US. They did nothing.

If you're going to post anonymously, post something smarter than this.

Au Contraire, unverified one, your posts combined with my magic have illustrated to me where you park your head.
M. Heppelwhite

X, if the Bush admin did indeed receive a report then why did the Clinton admin. let 9-11 happen. Looks like your head is in the same place as MH's is.

MH, are you implying you want to give me head?

xrayspx's picture

If 9/11 was all Clinton's fault, and Bush was working tirelessly to protect the US from turrorists, why did he take 2 1/2 MONTHS of vacation in the 9 months leading up to 9/11? He was on vacation when he received the report about an imminent bin Laden attack. Why did he not rush back to Washington and assemble the Joint Chiefs, CIA, FBI, NSA and thwart the attack.

Oh, because he was < useless.

I've had two kinds of anonymous comments:

1:) people who get logged out by cookie expiration and forget to log in.

2:) your nonsense.

Make an account and stand up for yourself. Jump on in, the water's great.

I am jumping in and choose to do so under the name of anomymous.

You are posting under some silly name of xrayspx. That might as well be anonymous to me so there you have it. I could care less who you are.

Please get over the Dim failure of the Clinton administration, till you and your fellow Dims do this country cannot move forward.

My Dad's retirement took a big hit with that "Cap and Trade". This is nonsense-legislation that can't be pinned on Republicans.

Also, you don't cure unemployment by new-hires of Federal employees—with their bloated retirements, unneeded, OPM-ripoff unions, and lay-abouts in the massively-growing sector of useless bureaucracy.

(And I speak as an employee of Government—both Federal and County).

That's the formula for a Soviet America! Is President Krushchev being proved right—day by day?

As to Clinton*s surplus, that all went out the window with 9/11, which cost us over $1 Trillion dollars—and counting. We should have had a department of Homeland Security, but Clinton* treated Terrorists like car thieves! What next, Miranda rights for Terrorists?

Bush himself said "anyone who was President would have done the same things [I] did": I took that to mean that legislation would have repeatedly passed over any of his vetoes.

He (and McCain) also warned—several times—about the CRA, and its burgeoning danger to this country's economy. While "everybody" should have a house to live in, they should be able to afford it!

What does BO do? He cuts the military, expresses "deep concern" over events in Iran and Honduras (today), and hires more Big Government employees.

Did nobody watch "Pathway to 9/11"?

If Clinton* himself hadn't telephoned ABC to axe segments, he'd have been savaged on TV AND radio, and nobody knew THAT better than himself!

I respect your right to be anonymous, however, please note that even in heated debates, we are respectful. PTW and Tis may call liberals things like "naive", which is a bummer, but really.

As for my anonymity, you are not looking very hard. I hide nothing.

I'm presenting a rational debate based on facts, numbers, and studies. You are serially trolling back with "nuh uh".

Until you can cite sources beyond the regular partisan bullshit sites (on either side, I work hard to avoid Kos and HuffPo, and I don't respect them either as news), then knock it off.

There are things on which PTW, Tis, among others, and I agree, and areas we don't, but I don't think either is stupid for having the beliefs they do, and I certainly hope they don't think that of me. I've at least shown that I can gather more accurate data faster than most people.

Gather all the false data you want, the truth will set you free if you choose to embrace it. Till then have fun bashing the Republicans, typical Dim.

We're going to need a lot more tin foil in southern NE tonight.

Ignore the state of Hawaii if you must. They must have been paid by the Trilateral Commission in concert with the Grey Aliens to install a hand-puppet for the One World Government.

I don't blame you for staying anonymous anymore, you obviously know too much. Farewell, and God Speed, may you one day get your truth told.

I WANT TO BELIEVE

Watch "On the record with Gretta" tonight for some great info on your Democratic flip flopper. Starts at 10pm.

Also here is more info on your beloved dim president. Trying to supress global warming info to support his agenda.

It's odd though, the only conspiracy enthusiast I know odd enough to troll this hard lives in Pawtucket at the moment. Am I warm?

Cold as ice. No idea about Pawtucket.

Did you watch Gretta? Imagine that, a campaign promise about to be broken by the chosen one. No rax increases for those American families making under 250K he said. Well guess what, look in you wallet, you will see his fingers there plucking your hard earned money right out of there. What other lies will be uncovered tonight/ We have the global warming thing and now tha tax thing. And it is only Monday.

xrayspx's picture

I really miss that guy. I should stalk him down and give him a ring.

For the record, you'll never see me saying Obama is the greatest thing since sliced cheese. Since you've just started posting, I'll recap:

I disagree with not allowing GM to fail. In the case of the banks, which were already underway from the last administration, I see distinctions. Also in the case of the basically "bridge funding" car companies (among others, like Caterpillar) got because of the dried up commercial paper market, I agree with that more.

My point was that he is legitimately the President. The State of Hawaii can and has certified that his original birth certificate is in perfect order, that they have received no instruction, nor have they carried out any action to treat his document any differently than they would any other Hawaiian.

I kind of dig Hawaii's F-U mentality here. The privacy of their citizens' critical documents seems to come above all else, and i respect that. Especially in these times of warrantless wiretaps and the Guantanamo "rock under which we throw our terror suspects".

That actually highlights a couple of other Obama policies I disagree strongly with.

I don't have a specific problem with "Tax and Spend" as much as I have a problem with "Don't Tax, yet Spend More Anyway". It's one of my things.

"...Ignore the state of Hawaii if you must..."

It's one bureaucrat's word from a Liberal state.

Voters want to see what continues to be undisclosed on that document!

"...I disagree with not allowing GM to fail..."

I can't see through the double-negatives.

Are you saying that Obama couldn't allow his Union Boss constituency-base to go broke?

"...I guess global warming is a myth as well despite the fact that 2500 scientists in over 130 countries say it's for real. Keep your head in the sand and the problems will go away..."

Liberals have succeeded in scaring Americans into a new—and as yet unproven—program which may break us immediately, while not curing the alleged problem in our lifetimes. It's another scam to impoverish us through the typical Liberal answer: Taxation.

"Trickle-up Poverty".

"...I shall now post stats and graphs showing the decline in the federal debt and a budget surplus during Clinton's administration..."

LBJ started a welfare program that broke the back of "African American family life. Its costs have exceeded $5 Trillion.

Clinton* had a Republican Congress, plus had multiple occasions to rid us of OBL—but did nothing—except have Sandy "Burglar" defend Clinton*s inactivities and rob the United States Archives of documents of Clinton*s hand-written margin notes of explicit Non-Feasance.

'Think he enjoyed signing that bill against Unceasing Welfare—that boosted the Surplus?

He took credit for it!
