Did the Media Create Obama?

Was the Media packed against Bush?

Is the Media in the tank for Obama?

If that was the case, would we see hand-picked reporters and hand-picked questions—like Hillary's so-called press conferences?

How DOES Obama like his new dog?

Does xrayspx use any Obama-controlled Media as debating points? If so, how would he know?

Even Mussolini didn't have this kind of power over the Media!

The media likes Obama because he's pleasant, I think.
Conversely, the media disliked GW Bush because he was so arrogant, I think.

I agree, Obama has a personality like Clinton. To listen to him he seems so nice and acts like he really cares for us. Too bad he doesn't. To bad he is really out for himself and his agenda. There is a name for that kind of person.

Do I use any "Obama Controlled Media?". What the hell is that supposed to mean? The last bunch of stats, which you STILL rejected out of hand as Lieburul Lies were from FOX for gods sake.

I use statistics compiled from academic sources where possible, and reputable news sources where I can't.

If the media is so liberal, why did they all pile on Clinton? Why did the fellate the last administration for so long?

Shit, even independent studies of NPR show it as a center-right bias, if any. I don't pick up much bias from them, if anything, their lieburul bias boils down to two words: New Hampshire's own Jack Beatty. He tends to get balanced out by shows like the really interesting one with Douglas Holtz-Eakin, McCain's top economic adviser. Since, you know McCain “I don’t know economics that well.”, doesn't. know. economics. that. well.

"...There is a name for that kind of person..."

I only know "Elitist" and Hypocrite". Where word were you thinking of?

"...Do I use any "Obama Controlled Media?". What the hell is that supposed to mean? The last bunch of stats, which you STILL rejected out of hand as Lieburul Lies were from FOX for gods sake..."

1) I'd say you do, but selectively. You quoted FOX, for example. FOX, in turn, pulled those numbers correctly, quoting the Abortion-Dr's own words: As far as I know, those numbers were not properly attributed to the Abortion-Dr's own words by FOX.

("Own-words", being a pretty good source: Think of Clinton*s grievous, ad-libbed, error in declining offers of Osama bin Laden to become a prisoner of the U.S.)

2)On Thursday, two reporters argued at length with The Obama's spokesman (Gibbs) that America's Media is being screened for "Obama-friendly" reporters, that questions are scripted for "Obama-friendly" coverage, and that Obama is thereby manipulating America's news coverage.

3) Hence, "Obama-Controlled-Media".

Maybe Dragonfly, Poppatuf and you were out of the country on Thursday and Friday.

Every administration does this. The Bush administration went so far as to create their own "friendly media". They picked the wrong guy though, since Jeff Gannon also happened to be a gay male escort.

The whole thing just reflected badly on the White House Press Office, since this guy had basically no more credentials than I do, yet was given front-row access to press briefings and was given the opportunity to ask lots of softball questions during those briefings.

Find me a public figure who doesn't try to massage their public image.

I don't understand the whole "Out of the country" thing, I'm sure you have some point with that though.

Newsbusters went easy on Obamedia:

“Nixon didn’t try to do that,” Thomas said. “They couldn’t control (the media). They didn’t try.

“What the hell do they think we are, puppets?” Thomas said.

“They’re supposed to stay out of our business. They are our public servants. We pay them.”

Thomas said she was especially concerned about the arrangement between the Obama Administration and a writer from the liberal Huffington Post Web site. The writer was invited by the White House to President Obama’s press conference last week on the understanding that he would ask Obama a question about Iran from among questions that had been sent to him by people in Iran.

“When you call the reporter the night before you know damn well what they are going to ask to control you,” Thomas said. “I’m not saying there has never been managed news before, but this is carried to fare-thee-well–for the town halls, for the press conferences,” she said. “It’s blatant. They don’t give a damn if you know it or not. They ought to be hanging their heads in shame.”
(—Newsbusters)

Although both objected to the process, neither remembered to ask about the fact that Obama would know the questions ahead of time. Thus giving a false appearance that he was prepared to answer any question put to him, when in fact he'd already worked out the answers for the questions he chose to ask himself.

Comments:

"Frankly, with ABC holding infomercials for Obama in prime time, it seems almost petty to get exercised about a phony town hall.

Exit question: How seriously should we take concerns that Obama’s not facing enough tough questions when voiced by a woman known to wonder why the White House considers Iran a threat?

"It is fun to watch Gibbs completey fail at his job."

If the media is so liberal, why did they all pile on Clinton?

Clinton*s escapades sold newspapers: now they're all in financial trouble!
