A good Laugh
TruthinTyping - Thu, 04/30/2009 - 9:17am
It's always good to have a laugh first thing in the morning.
A friend of mine forwarded to me an email from a local antique dealer who is restarting an antique business. I won't say who the dealer is but suffice it to say this person has had numerous issues with the town of Wolfeboro, it's selectmen, police, etc.
The good laugh came when I was reading the email and noticed a blurb on the side about a local person busted with 900 lbs of pot, who at one time, was a Wolfeboro Police commissioner.
I'm not sure but if I was starting a business or re-opening one, I don't think I'd want to be re-stirring the pot of negativity.

Myself, I rather be a hard working antique dealer than a drug running mule.
So what if a local antique dealer (we know who you're talking about) adds a little comment about the "Dumb Ass" drug dealer. At least she signs her name to comments.
Can you tell me what is negative about her comment.
Speaking of "Dumb Ass"
I heard today, from a very reliable source, that our friend J. L. (the one with the pretty sweater) is out on bail and back in Wolfeboro!
Oh, I just posted that one
Oh, I just posted that one the other thread. So you had a sighting too, oc!
Or a wise ass chicken
Or a wise ass chicken who hides behind their keyboard. They're just jealous!
It always cracks me up when local business people are rude to people. No wonder so many people shop outside of Wolfeboro.
If memory serves me right, when you're talking about "dumb ass" drug dealers, I seem to recall an article in the Granite State news a year or so ago about a drug bust at the Wolfeboro Inn.
Do we really want to dig up old stuff? Can't we all just be happy and move on in life?
Let it lie people. I was merely commenting on the childish link on the email. It is sad that someone's life is basically over because of his mistake, but it is his mistake and should pay for it. Maybe he'll cut a deal and roll over on who he was bringing it back for.
Strange things "crack up" Truthin Typing.
They took the bait
Truth in typin didn't stop to think about the purpose of the link from my email. It was to get more people to come here to this new forum and I successfully reeled them in. Now who is the stupid one?
Furthermore, the minor who was at the center of the drug bust at the Wolfeboro Inn with 1/2 a joint was found NOT GUILTY and the charges placed on file. The Wolfeboro Inn and Police were blamed for illegal search.
I don't suspect the 52 year old man with 900 POUNDS of pot will be found not guilty.
Short Story For Today
Little Susie goes home from school and tells her mum that the boys keep asking her to do cartwheels because she's very good at them ?
Mum said : " YOU should say NO - they only want to look at your undies".
Susie said: " I know they do that's why I hide them in my backpack"!
A good laugh oc, I'm glad it worked out for you DF.
