I'm about to become real dangerous
I've spent the last 30 years running harder than any human should run. From working 125 hour weeks in a warehouse for $9.50/hour to doing the same pace of work for increasing but not crazy amounts of money.
I've been flat out sprinting as "The Fucking Linchpin Guy" at whatever job I'm working for so long I haven't focused any time on anything else at all.
As I transition to doing...not that, well, what now? Everything in my home environment has been "eh good enough is good enough". I have my media handling "handled" but everything else is kind of meh. That's about to change in a big way.
I'm watching this excellent Tech Tangents video:
I've been running into many of the same problems at a smaller scale. OBS automation. Everything being generally clunky or requiring a remote to deal with. Nothing seems to be easy to automate in the way I'm used to with all my custom network management workflow tooling.
Get ready house, xrayspx has got time on his hands. It looks like the SoHo market is gonna need my attention.
