Music Streaming Setup

Step 1

- Allow Ultrasonic to send notifications

Step 2

- Welcome screen
- Take Me To the Settings

Step 3

- Plus button to add new server

Step 4

- Configure the server and save

- click the newly added entry to activate it

- Your Media Library will appear empty until you refresh it. Hit the menu button at the top left and select Media Library to refresh it.

From There

you can browse around the artist and albums tab to listen to something specific. I never do this.

TIPS

I don't actually ever deal with music by selecting an artist and going to an album. I use playlists. Hit the menu button again and select Playlists. There are "star rating" playlists which I very arbitrarily sorted everything we have into. There are also several other daily updated playlists of various genres and concepts.

Select the playlist you want.

Good go-to playlists are Barn Radio, which is basically the easy listening and rock stations of the early 80s., Garage Surf is what it is, 60s garage rock. Soul is also good, right now it's pretty much just the entire box sets of Motown and Stax.

in the top right to start playing

The menu

at the top right will let you navigate to the album or artist of the currently playing song:

If you get off somewhere and want to return to the "Now Playing" song page just click the playing song at the bottom and it will take you back.







You should have a mini-player on your phone's lock screen, so you can quickly pause or skip the current song conveniently without having to unlock your phone.
