MacBook 13", very first thoughts

The new MacBook came in today, and I've been tooling around on it for the last couple hours.

Good:
-- Speed seems good

-- I toyed with my Treo 700w and can shoot pictures across, that is about all.

-- New Trackpad drivers woo yay, it's nice.

Bad:
-- The magnetic power cord will take getting used to. If you pull it straight, it's almost impossible to unplug, however if you breathe on it funny from an angle, it shoots across the floor.

-- The edge of the case where you lay your wrists while typing is a RAZOR SHARP BEVEL. It is shaving all kinds of cool patterns into my arms right now and I'm afraid that it might slit my wrists if I go for the trackpad. This piece of shit begs to be dremeled.

I've never been able to find free utilities to do the following in 10.4:

-- Focus follows mouse (sloppy)

-- Windows shade when title bar is doubleclicked, rather than minimize to dock

-- Keyboard remapping such that I can turn the "enter" key into a "fn" key.

The keyboard remap thing existed pre-10.4, but the maintainer of the package I used to use quit and said "here use this guys stuff instead", the other guys stuff let you do everything one could want except fn->enter, which is all I want.

I will have to try harder to get amaroK running now, since the idea with the iBook G3/500Mhz is that it will now become a media player hooked into our stereo and pulling from the central MP3 share rather than us having to dig through booklets to find a CD. However iTunes has always disgusted me and amaroK is about as close as I've seen to perfect.
