Yeah OK I'm A Marxist I Guess?

I've never actually read Marx, or any other "political thinker" from a hundred and whenever years ago. I don't super care that much about political theory and the tenets of National Socialism. Most people really don't. Here's the thing though.

You know why Legitimate Mainstream News Sources spend a lot of time every day calling everyone left of David Duke a "Communist" or "Marxist"? Because it makes it seem totally equal to us calling out Fascism or making comparisons to WWII.

Cutting funding to care for people in emergencies and help rebuild roads so towns can get food, then using that money to fund concentration camps because you're donning body armor and raiding farms to arrest people who aren't trying to harm anyone. That's fascism.

Privatizing our entire public weather forecasting infrastructure under discount Arsenio Hall to strip those bones clean to pay for more police to perform more "immigrant raids". That's Fascism. Destroying NASA and scientific missions, and funding for any science really whatsoever, so we can pay for the world's richest man to explode rocket after rocket in obviously trivially flawed designs and promising to put people on Mars. That's fascism. While the world's second-richest man uses his private rockets to fly pop musicians into space for 10 minutes. You can't pay for that kind of press.

But paying for school lunch programs so that the children of the people who milk our cows for 12 hours a day 6 days a week can eat a healthy meal? That's basically exactly what Stalin did so it's all the same. You want to teach poor kids how to read to get them a start in school? Marxist. Want kids to have music classes and art classes? No way, not when we've got a hotel housekeeping crew to fly to El Salvador for daring to change sheets that an American could be changing.

Americans are gonna need those jobs since they have to justify themselves to get basic healthcare assistance now. But you can't make /too/ much money, or you can't qualify for help. Have fun staying poor.

Oh and we're going to go ahead and take the jobs of anyone who took those "well paid IT jobs" to build all of this bullshit architecture for these goddamn ghouls. Which part of War Games did you not understand?

Why are we still paying federal taxes exactly?
