Almost exactly half my music collection contains "the". Of 15,137 tracks, 7578 have "the" in the Artist, album or track name. So I'm 19 off.

The reason this came to my attention is that I was searching my collection for The The. iTunes doesn't seem to like that search much and only hits on one "the". Quotes mean nothing to this application. Thanks again Apple.

I've noticed some traffic to wolfnet.xrayspx.com hitting my page since I shut down the wolfeboro.net forum installation, and I wanted to clarify the situation somewhat.

After the last Wolfeboro.net outage, I requested that they find alternate hosting for the site. I don't have the time to run it for free and deal with securing the site, etc.

Natalie and I were at an antique store a couple of months ago and found some vintage postcards with lolcats on 'em. I like seeing things that represent a straight line from our past to our present, especially if it's something as random as lolcats. 100 years ago, people thought it was amusing to take pictures of cats and caption them in humorous ways. I can only hope that these were funnier 100 years ago than they are today, otherwise these copywriters should have been hanged.
